Here is a brief look into the creative theme of Linday & Thatcher's Wedding  Reception.

Lindsay & Thatcher met in a unique and romantic way. They met when Lindsay and her family went on a river rafting excursion out of state. Thatcher ended up being a rafting guide to Lindsay and her family. The romance began and the wedding that followed took on the theme of their initial meeting. The outdoor river theme was perfetly executed by Amorology Weddings and Captured beautifully on Film (real Film!) by Jill Thomas Photography

Vanessa + Derek // Newport Beach, Ca

I have had this wedding done for a few months and I'm finally getting around to getting it some love on the blog.

It was a very beautiful day and Derek & Vanessa were stunning and so natural on camera. They were in their own world most of the time. I really enjoyed working with Ashlee Raubach Photography. She really knows how to make the couple feel comfortable and have fun. Check out the images from this wedding here.

Carly Bridal Prep Highlights

This was a fun morning of shooting. Not only did I get to shoot with such a fun bride and her firends, but I also was lucky enough to work together with my wife. Her company (Swell Beauty) was doing the Hair & Makeup for Carly and her bridesmaids. Stay tuned for more from Carly's wedding day. It was stunning, and I loved being a part of it.

Filling Lungs with Love

Sometimes I forget why I love my job. It certainly isnt for the big money:-)

I love making films that effect people's lives. It's really what I love to do most.  I have had the chance over the past few months to work on a charity event for an old friend from High School.

Her name is Sharlie . She has fought her whole life against Cystic Fibrosis. As we prepared for this event, we have been met with an outpouring of support and love from so many.

I had the chance to meet up with Jon Foreman from the band "Switchfoot". I have worked on video projects with Switchfoot for about 15 years, ever since High School when we were just groms. Jon sat down with me at the beach and we recorded a special tribute song for Sharlie. "Learning to Breathe" This song has meaning as Sharlie fights for every breathe. She is awaiting a double lung transplant as well as a heart transplant. Every breathe is hard to take for Sharlie.

Mike & Audrey // Gaslamp Quarter, SD Wedding

I had a great time working on Mike & Audrey's wedding. They were a unique and super energetic couple. 

Audrey was very much involved with the planning and the details of her wedding. She hired the talented Amorology Weddings Team to create a wonderful event where the location and venue was as unique as you can get in a city setting.

In 1914, Frank Culy started the Culy Trucking Company in the historic heart of the Gaslamp Quarter’s East Village to transport goods to early San Diego residents. Now the Culy Building houses events of all kinds.

I know that Heather at Amorology must have been thrilled to work on such a blank canvas. It turned out amazing and Audrey was so thrilled with the ceremony and reception. You couln't take the smile off her face the entire day.

Mike & Audrey hired a tremendous crew of professionals to make the day what it was. 

Betwixt Photo captured amazing photos and was a pleasure to work with.

Twigg Botanicals did such an amazing job with the flowers and not to mention implementing the feathers through out the wedding, including down the aisle.

Tim Altbaum gave the guests a great mix of music. there was not a moment when that dance floor was empty. The sign of a great DJ.

And Crown Point Catering put together an mouth watering menu for the evening and provided great service throughout the event.
